This luxurious villa is located in
south-east side of Corfu island, 22 km from the city of Corfu and
only 200 m from the pebble and sandy beach of Messonghi.
The center of Messonghi village is distant only 500 m and is
considered to be one of the most picturesque resorts in Corfu
because it combines mountains, sea and river. It is not a
coincidence that this resort pioneered tourism in Greece.
Archeological findings of early settlements dated 50. 000 B.C.
have been excavated here, fact which makes the area interesting
also from another point of view.
The resort is also famous for its numerous fresh fish and sea food
taverns. Here you can also find bakery, grocery stores,
restaurants and bars on the beach.
Messongi river is a natural border between Messongi and Moraitika
villages and it is used as a base for daily boat trips to Mainland
Greece, sea caves, Mouse Island and Paxos & Antipaxos islands. The
distance from the villa to the river is 900 m.
At the distance of 1,5 km from the villa is located beautiful
village of Moraitika where you can find supermarkets, boutiques,
souvenir shops, restaurants, night clubs and bars.
Only 15 minutes drive you can find untouched protected area of Chalikouna
sea water lake with 13 km long sandy beach. Perfect place for kitesurfing, windurfing and other water sports. This beach is so
vast that it is almost guaranteed to find a private spot. Other
interesting nearby resorts are: Boukari and Petriti fishing
villages, Agios George (south), Agios Matheos village, Chlomos
village and Prassoudi beach. |
